Q 1:- Who can apply?

The scheme is open to all citizens of India, including NRIs who are willing to work in India and undertake projects promising innovative technologies/solutions.

Q 2:- How do I apply?

The application form is available online on https://ebiz.bpc.co.in/BPCLStartUp/. Applicants are required to register, fill and submit the online form.

Q 3:- How long can I take to validate my idea?

The duration of the project is expected to be not more than 36 months for Technical Process Re-Engineering (TPRE) and about 12 to 18 months for Business Process Re-engineering (BPRE). However, each proposal will be evaluated and a reasonable time frame will be assessed based on the scope and complexity of the project.

Q 4:- Is there any limit for the number of projects to be submitted?

No, there is no limit for number of projects to be submitted. However, only one proposal may be selected based on evaluation criteria.

Q 5:- Do I receive an acknowledgement for my submission?

Yes, once the application is submitted, you will receive an email/SMS on your registered email ID/mobile number.

Q 6:- Can I view the status of my submission?

Yes, you can login and view the status of your submission.
